Just look what a friend of mine found...and guess what I ordered about a hundred of today!!! Take that FISHERHUBBY!!! I get to fish with the generic too...and it isn't even handpainted!!! LOL...Today has been a good day for fishing...I ordered lots of interesting and cool new lures from a lesser known lure maker!!! I like giving my money to small businesses!!! "Local" tackle shops and "mom and pop" shops are FUN to shop at whether down the street or online!!! Regardless of where they are located it makes me feel good to know that I am helping out "the little guys"!!!
In other news, I talked to a great fishing friend today that I haven't spoken to in a while!! He always gets me hyped up for fishing and all the fishing gossip always makes me happy and I began to look forward to the season again!!!! Thanks JOE!!! :) You always know just when to call and cheer me up!!! :)
So...I'm not ready to give out the information on where I will be spending my vaca!!! But it will be great and I will be able to fish for FOUR different types of fish...so we can of course all expect my page to be full of new, fishy pictures in a month or so!!! :) YAY!!!!
It's almost time to start packing and that makes me happy!!! Tomorrow night I think I will clean out the old "Canadian Tackle Box" (a plano 9606 of course...) and re-organize it like I do for every trip. This trip will see me packing not only great pike lures...but great lake trout lures as well!!! EXCITING!!! Plus I have to make lots of room for the 50 new lures I just purchased five minutes ago!!!
...and don't worry...I might tell you where to get those special, super secret bad boy generics one of these days...but I dunno....we all have to have a few secrets, right???? ;)
