One of The Lay Family Tractors...It is so blue and shiny!!!cause Sunday I spent the day at the farm with my Moo Dog and the Fisherhubby and it was FUN!!! I farmed a little (aka rode along in the tractor), ran a little, played a little, and fished a little. Even though I didn't catch a thing, I had some major FUN with my favorite peoples and puppies :) Here are some photos from my day...
First of all...This is ONE EXCITED PUPPY!!! The farm is one of the only places on planet earth where my 9 year old Lab/Shepherd mix is a wee puppy again bouncing around and sniffing for bunnies!!! She had a BLAST!!!
After a fun day of chopping stalks and discing fields, I fished for some catfish with some major stinky bait that I bought from Bass Pro before heading to the farm. I also bought some worms but didn't end up using them so I set them free in the field... :)
This is us after an exhausting day of PLAY!!! Don't laugh at my attempt at a self portrait ;)
Needless to say, it was fantastic to get away. I didn't catch any Bullhead but I might try again next time I am there...I am assured that they are indeed there!!! This weekend, however, is rainbow trout catching time for this chickie, and I will, once again, be The Fisherbabe ;)
