W00t W00t... ;) I get to go fishing for bass sooner than I thought!!! The first week in April I am going to visit my mommy in Southeast Arkansas...YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!! I miss my family so much, and I am super excited to visit home!!!
My Fishermommy promised to take me fishing at some of our favorite little places, and I sure hope I can catch a bass. I will even take a tiny one!! I just need some bass on my PAGE NOW!!! So if any of my readers in the Southeast Arkansas area have a great place where I can fish for some major bass...LOL...let me know!!! However, I am pretty sure I can catch one or two with my bobber and worms!!! LOL...
The upside is that this time I won't be using my old, trusty canepoles!! I am printing off Tami Curtis Jennings bass list before I go!!! Then, I am going to catch some MAJOR bass and my blog is going to the next level...LOL...cause everyone knows that I need a little Bass on my page... ;)
Any of you awesome readers have any other great tips for catching monster bass??? Let me know!!! I will, of course, share all my lovely catches right here with you guys!!!

Hey Lizzie!! I'm so jealous that you get to go bass fishing! If it's been warm and the water is warming up...I'd go with spinnerbaits. If it's been cool...plastic worm wacky rigged..or maybe jig and pig....good luck! Want to see some pics of you kissing a big'un!
ReplyDeleteFisherbabe, The first of April in southeast Arkanasas will have the bass on the bank (in the shallows) One of the best techniques for catching these bass is a texas-rigged senko cast into the shallows. Let the fish pick the bait up, tighten the line and jerk! Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a BLAST!!! Duke & Tom are right about the spinnerbait...the fish will probably be in the shallows.
(for the BEST list of BFBs and other sites...check out Basspastor's site. You can find a TONS of links that will give you info about bass fishing that should help you on your vacation.)
