Fishin' Heels...

So...I was trolling facebook today and saw that the WFN page posted this link:

Apparently Lady Gaga went fishing in underwear, 6 inch high heels, and a man's business shirt. Now...I am not gonna diss all upon her outfit, AND I am not going to say anything about her high heels...unlike other people that may comment on the impracticality of it. I am for most anything that shines a light on the sport of fishing...and HEY...maybe she had the time of her life!!!

Personally, I have never fished in high heels. Like one commenter over on WFN's facebook page said, "it sounds like a great way to get stuck in the mud" or in my clumsy case...fall over the side of the boat!!!

But I started thinking to myself about the subject and decided to find my own set of "Fishin' Heels"!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided upon the following pairs:

The Classic Lovely Manolo Blahnik...

I chose this "Fishin' Heel" because it has feathers. Therefore, although you might get stuck in the mud...if you lose your "lure tail" you can just pluck a few feathers off your shoe and quickly get back to it!!!!

Next A Lovely Christian Louboutin...

I chose this shoe, because it is snake skin...therefore, it obviously belongs in the outdoors. PLUS, I think the poof of a flower on the top of the foot would accessorize my black rain Cabela's rain pants quite nicely ;)

Third in line is the Adorable Jimmy Choo...

Hey...I figure if this chick can change a tire in these heels while her Manfriend looks on, fishing in 'em should be a freakin' breeze ;)

Christian Dior Strappy Sandals in a lovely ORANGE HAMMER COLOR...

I think this color is GREAT for early spring PIKE catchin'...SOOOOO why not wear shoes that match your lure!! As an added bonus, these heels also appear to be made from bright orange fishing wire...and have really interesting heels that could most likely be broken into parts in the sad case that your reels break down...LOL ;)

And last but not least...another pair of LOVELY Christian Louboutins...

Now...I just picked these cause they are pretty AND because they remind me of my tiara which is also NOT practical to wear while fishing...BUT HEY...who says fishing gear needs to be practical...I mean besides mother nature...and fishing experts...and anyone who knows anything about fishing...LOL :)
