Hi my name is Cara M. About a month ago, we took the boys down to a pond here by the house and caught a ton of little fish. They loved it.

Ok, here it is... last Sunday I went to my favorite little secret state park lake. I hardly ever catch any bass bigger than 12 inches but it's easy to get to and has a lot of nice scenery, etc. As I was heading back to the ramp I threw my Senko toward the bank and then looked away toward where an owl "hooted". Just then a huge (6 lbs. +) bass sucked it in and ran. I kept the rod high and reeled to catch up, never got the hook set. He came all the way to the boat, I got a great look at him "broadside", 22" plus! Then, he just lauged at me, flipped his head (and the worm), and swam off. I'll try to find him again next weekend!
