High Fishing Fashion...

is something all of you understand that I strive for. Amazingly enough, the market on high fishing fashion has yet to be developed to,what I see at least, its full potential. I mean...Pink Hunter Wellington boots are very cute, but we can do better than that right?

Well...Prada seems to think so. For those of you who do not know what Prada might be, its a very expensive, very posh, very luxurious fashion house. They design amazing outfits that I cannot afford, but lust over ever spring and fall when they show their lines on the runways of all the major fashion forward cities of the world (none of which I have actually been to).

This season, Prada sent their models down the runway in very familiar boots...thigh high fishing waders. The rest of the outfit consisted of a very outdoorsy theme, but my eye was immediately drawn to the waders. Then, in the famous September Issue of the Premier fashion bible which is Vogue, waders (by another posh brand) are featured in a lovely outdoorsy photo spread.

My very favorites are the pairs of high heeled waders that are featured in the magazine. How lovely would it be to step out onto the shores of your favorite fishing hole with some of those babies on...Can anyone say HOTTT!!! Unfortunately, I can also imagine myself reeling in a fighting, fiesty fish and falling face first into the ice cold water.

So...although these waders do not seem exactly useable (or safe for that matter...) I do commend Prada for sending their lovely, leggy models down the runway in something one rarely sees, and more importantly, I commend Ms. Anna Wintour, the Editor-In-Chief at Vogue, for fusing my love for fashion with my love for fishing.
